Albany Enterprise Asks: Where are They Now?

Three Holdingford Scholarship Endowment recipients were recently interviewed by the Albany Enterprise about their college lives, mentors that have supported them along the way, and how the support of the Holdingford Scholarship Endowment has helped them. Here’s just a snippet of what they had to say:

Morgan Vouk | Concordia College | Major: English Education
“I can’t thank [Holdingford Scholarship Endowment supporters] enough for how generous and supportive they were by granting me this scholarship. It really helps to pay for my education and I love it here. To have that help so I can go to a school I love, I can’t thank them enough for that.”

Megan Sowada | St. Catherine University | Major: American Sign Language Interpreting
“When I was choosing colleges, St. Kate’s was my only option, but it’s a really expensive college. The scholarship has definitely helped me further my education and I’m super thankful for that.”

Nathan Gerads | North Dakota State University | Major: Mechanical Engineering
“Thank you so much [to supporters of the Holdingford Scholarship Endowment]. College is super expensive and any amount helps. It’s nice to know that people notice when students work hard in high school and they acknowledge it by granting scholarships.”
