Third annual golf tournament supports effort to give every Holdingford graduate a scholarship for continued education.

Holdingford, Minn. (Sept. 3, 2019) – The Holdingford Scholarship Endowment has announced that $7,000 was raised from the annual golf tournament. The event was sponsored by Holdingford-based Two Rivers Enterprises, a fabricator of high-quality commercial, industrial and wholesale equipment.

The third annual Holdingford Endowment Golf Outing was held August 12 and attracted teams from across Central Minnesota for a day of fun. Proceeds supported the Endowment’s goal of giving every Holdingford High School graduate a scholarship to pursue education beyond high school.

The winners of the four-person scramble were Mark Saurer, Bob Lane, Doug Connell, Phil Brown, and Mark Dorn.

Hole sponsors were the Blattner Family Council, Central McGowan, CMCU, K&S Pharmacy, Marco and TW Metals.

“Every year we hear that this scholarship makes a difference and helps support students’ post-education plans,” said Bob Warzecha, chair of the Holdingford Scholarship Endowment advisory board and president of Two Rivers Enterprises. “Thank you to the businesses, organizations and individuals that came out to support our students. None of this would be possible without generous community involvement.”
